Job summary

Fair Oaks Farms is seeking a Part-Time Banquet Prep Cook to support large events at our Fair Oaks, IN location. You will handle prep tasks such as cutting, measuring, and portioning ingredients to ensure quality and presentation for banquets and weddings, while following all safety and sanitation standards.

You will work with an on-site kitchen team, reporting to the Banquet Chef, and contribute to a smooth service for events while maintaining high hygiene and efficiency throughout preparation

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reading and math skills are required for recipes and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly demeanor.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed and provide items for prep.
• Prepare, cut, slice, and portion meats, poultry, and seafood for cooking.
• Maintain sanitary, safe work areas and follow health regulations.
• Communicate with cooks, Sous Chef, and Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations.
