BayCoast Bank is seeking a Customer Service Associate (Part-Time) in Fairhaven, MA. You will be on the front line of our branch, delivering friendly service, handling inquiries, processing transactions, and supporting sales and relationship development.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and a positive customer experience while building skills for a long-term banking career. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• Cash handling experience or comfort with cash transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual ability (Portuguese/Spanish) a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the bank, delivering friendly and professional service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Build relationships and identify customer needs.
• Recommend banking products and services and identify referral opportunities.
• Support branch service goals.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Balance cash and maintain transaction accuracy.
• Assist with ATM, night deposit, and safe deposit functions.
• Participate in team initiatives and training programs.
• Support other departments as needed.
