Job summary

TD is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative in Amherst, NH. You will act as the hospitality ambassador for the financial center, handling client inquiries, processing transactions, and guiding customers toward the right TD solutions.

You will engage clients with professionalism, educate on products and digital tools, and refer to specialists as needed to support financial goals while upholding risk and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year demonstrated experience working with clients (volunteering, education, military experience counted).
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a client facing/financial institution preferred.
• Ability to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire.
• Strong organization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the first point of contact for clients, guiding traffic flow and delivering high-touch service.
• Processes accurate, efficient everyday banking transactions and referrals to partners.
• Educates clients on products and self-serve solutions while recommending appropriate solutions.
• Utilizes knowledge of basic banking products to evaluate and propose client solutions.
• Performs a broad range of client transactions within established financial limits.
• Identifies and escalates non-standard issues as needed.
