First State Bank and Trust in Monticello, IL is seeking a daytime, part-time Bank Teller to handle customer transactions, educate customers on products, and contribute to a welcoming banking experience.

You will support both drive-up and lobby teller lines with shifts including 9:00 to 2:00 on Monday and Friday and 10:00 to 3:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The role requires accuracy, service focus, and confidentiality in handling customer information.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine transactions within established guidelines, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Accurately count, verify, and handle cash with daily balancing and adherence to controls.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers, listen, address inquiries, and resolve concerns with empathy.
• Educate customers about bank products and services and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Safeguard customers' personal information and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the bank.
• Remain alert to potential fraud and take appropriate precautions.
