First State Bank and Trust in Bloomington, IL is seeking a full-time Bank Teller to process transactions accurately and build relationships with customers.

The role primarily works Monday–Friday, 7:45 am – 4:45 pm, with rotating Saturdays, 7:00–12:00, focusing on cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and educating customers about products. You will greet customers, verify information, maintain confidentiality, and support fraud prevention while upholding security standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine transactions within established guidelines, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Accurately count, verify, and handle large volumes of cash during daily transactions and balancing.
• Provide great customer service, greet customers, listen to needs, and address inquiries with empathy.
• Educate customers about products and services, cross-sell where appropriate.
• Safeguard customers' personal information and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the bank.
• Remain alert to potential fraud and take necessary precautions.
