Job summary

Heritage Bank, Freeland Branch, is seeking a part-time bank teller to assist customers with routine transactions and support branch sales efforts. This onsite role in Freeland, WA, requires a Monday–Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

schedule with flexibility for training or absences. The base salary ranges by level: Level I $20.00–$22.88/hr; Level II $21.00–$24.84/hr. A comprehensive benefits package applies, with paid time off and holidays; minimum high school diploma and cash handling/customer

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service experience required for Level I.
• 1 year cash handling and customer service experience in financial services required for Level II.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Knowledge of DNA or Fiserv preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs routine paying / receiving duties and maintains an accurate cash drawer in accordance with assigned Authority limits.
• Promotes, explains, and refers bank products and services based on customer needs.
• Maintains confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions.
• Complies with all policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Actively participates in branch marketing and sales promotions.
• Contributes to the success of the team by sharing in all branch administrative duties as required and assigned.
