Job summary

First Horizon Corp. is seeking a part-time teller to provide quality financial service in a retail banking setting. You’ll handle daily cash transactions, assist customers, and support cross-sell of bank products while maintaining compliance and security standards.

The role emphasizes accurate processing of deposits and withdrawals, balance responsibilities, and delivering a positive client experience. On-site location and a 30-hour workweek apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer with proper audit and security controls.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, coupons, money orders, etc.).
• Assist in daily balancing and ATM processing tasks.
• Assist with night and lobby depository deposits verification.
• Assist with dual control vault responsibilities.
• Stay informed of updates to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer clients to the appropriate team.
• Promote bank products and services to enhance client relationships.
• Adhere to regulations, internal controls, and ethics policies.
• Perform other assigned duties.
