Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Beckley, WV is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to support B2B sales and customer service at the 606 S Eisenhower Dr location.

You will develop new and grow existing customer relationships using a consultative sales approach, coordinate resources to respond to service needs, and perform local sales calls in a branch environment. The role requires a valid driver's license, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field OR equivalent customer service experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Demonstrate sales aptitude, motivation and customer focus.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to lift and move packages 25–50 lbs (up to 75 lbs).
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam).

Responsibilities

• Support B2B sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
