Job summary

Salt Lake Community College seeks an AV technician to maintain and provide assistance with AV over IP classrooms, support events, and troubleshoot for faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities include installation and routine maintenance of permanently affixed classroom audio/video equipment, user support across the campus, and clear communication with diverse groups. Training and certification opportunities are available to enhance skills.

Qualifications

• One year of experience or interest in audio/video, AV over IP, or Information Technology.
• One year of customer service experience in an AV or IT field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and assist with the installation of permanently affixed classroom and facility audio/video equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on audio/video equipment in classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces.
• Provide computer and audio/video technical support to staff, faculty, and students.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
