Job summary

Principle Volkswagen of Grapevine is seeking a part-time Receptionist / BDC with dealership experience. You will be the face of the dealership and the first impression, handling calls, greeting visitors, verifying appointments, and coordinating with departments. Hours are 8 am to 1 pm, Monday through Friday, plus every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years working as a Receptionist or a BDC in a dealership
• Experience working a multiline phone system and have basic computer skills
• Experience setting up/verifying appointments for clients and/or researching/answering client’s questions
• High degree of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Must be able to provide quick turnaround of unanticipated requests
• Must be able to prioritize and organize workflow to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain performance in high pressure situations

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments
• Greet visitors and employees as they walk into the building
• Verify appointments
• Managing constantly shifting priorities with flexibility and accuracy
• Identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing related information
• Screen incoming calls, E-mails and correspondence - responding independently when possible
• Will be required to scan and file
• Restock and keep the customer lounge areas clean
• Responsible for keeping immediate area and the surrounding area clean and tidy
