Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Twinsburg, OH to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, merchandise organization, and opening/closing procedures while upholding company standards.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and lift up to 55 lbs. Part-time position based on store needs.

Qualifications

• Must read, interpret, and explain operational directives (e.g., merchandise schematics)
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive movements (walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive manner
• Organize, move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and handling payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom
• Protect company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
