Job summary

Self Storage Plus in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day operations, leasing, and maintenance across our storage facilities.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, able to meet sales goals, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and proficient with Microsoft Office; a valid driver's license is required. This is a part-time, non-exempt position offering PTO and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the management of property operations, including leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Maintaining the property through regular maintenance checks, conducting daily property walks to ensure safety and security requirements are met, making minor repairs as needed.
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the property, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning storage units, and other cleaning responsibilities as needed.
• Responding to customer inquiries, presenting amenities during tours, and explaining leasing terms.
• Respond to customer complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure a positive tenant experience.
