Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role covers assisting with daily store activities, organizing merchandise from delivery, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the sales floor and stockroom.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, processing directives, supervising associates, and maintaining promotional fixtures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Experience in customer service is encouraged.
• Operational directives and store procedures are to be understood.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 55 lbs and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and ensure assets are secure.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
