Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Del City, OK.

You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, process directives, and help manage payroll and loss prevention to maintain a well-stocked, clean, and inviting store environment. Responsibilities include supervising store associates, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring safety and policy adherence while delivering friendly, professional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates under the Store Manager.
