Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day functions, help customers, and help supervise store associates.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a high-energy, team-oriented approach. The position offers opportunities to organize displays, restock, and help ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store and ensure company standards are met.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
