Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits) and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, stocked store areas and secure assets.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety guidelines; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and overall appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
