Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, enhance customer service, and develop team performance in Plantation, FL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent bending, walking, and standing
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays and ensure store standards
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention
• Supervise and develop Store Associates to maintain a safe, friendly environment
