Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Middletown, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily tasks, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized and displays are maintained.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store management experience is preferred. You will help train associates, supervise opening/closing procedures, and uphold company policies while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform related physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping including payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure all assets.
• Adhere to policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Support the Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
