Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Philadelphia area location.

You will help manage day-to-day activities, supervise associates, and ensure a clean, well-organized store environment. The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and a positive customer experience, with opportunities to contribute to staffing, training, and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Team-oriented with customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain store displays and cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and handling refunds, payroll, and scheduling.
• Maintain organized stockroom and well-stocked sales floor.
• Protect store assets including cash and inventory.
• Assist Store Manager with training and development of associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
