Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Worth, TX to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing tasks.

The role involves implementing corporate directives, maintaining displays, and supporting payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention. You will mentor Store Associates and maintain a positive, safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment was requested.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities and communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and store cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cashier deposits, and loss prevention.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; ensure a positive, safe environment.
• Adhere to store policies and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
