Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Fort Worth, TX to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering positive experiences for the community.

The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight to keep shelves stocked and displays appealing. You will assist with daily store operations, protect assets, and maintain cleanliness while providing friendly, professional service to customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent movement.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and policies.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
