Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, manage merchandise, and ensure a safe, clean, and compliant environment.

The role includes supervising associates, training, and maintaining promotional displays, with part-time hours and a focus on delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and stock merchandise, transfer from delivery to floor, maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional materials.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and record keeping including payroll and scheduling
• Maintain a clean, stocked, secure store and ensure safety and policies are followed.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
