Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; reading and interpreting directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform extensive walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from trucks to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure policy compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
