Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Albuquerque to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor.

You’ll support opening/closing duties and implement company directives while maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly store This role requires strong communication, the ability to train staff, and a commitment to excellent service in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and payroll-related record keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized store and stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
