Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Media, PA to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help organize merchandise, and uphold company standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, supervision and training of store associates, protecting assets, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
