Job summary

ITAC Solutions is seeking a Part Time Assistant Property Manager to support our client’s mission-driven housing team in Texas. This on-site role focuses on daily operations, resident relations, and ensuring safe, affordable housing across developments.

You will assist with leasing, move-ins/outs, rent collection, and resident records, while helping with annual and interim recertifications. A path to required certifications is provided as you grow in the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; business school preferred.
• Certification in Public Housing Management and Tax Credit Specialist is desired after joining.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing, move-ins, move-outs, rent collection, and resident records.
• Assist with annual and interim resident recertifications.
• Conduct unit inspections and identify property concerns.
• Prepare rent, delinquency, eviction, and financial reports.
• Counsel residents and connect them with appropriate community resources.
• Support eviction processing and compliance with HUD and LIHTC requirements.
• Maintain office operations and assist with deliveries between developments and Central Office.

Compensation: $16.00/hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support leasing, move-ins, move-outs, rent collection, and resident records.
• Assist with annual and interim resident recertifications.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Be able to do the job as described.
• High school diploma or GED; business school preferred.
• Ability to obtain Public Housing Management Certification within one year.
• Ability to obtain Tax Credit Specialist certification after one year.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and eligibility for PHA fleet insurance.
• Ability to support office operations and manage team members in the Manager’s absence.
