Job summary

BoxLunch, a pop-culture retailer committed to eliminating hunger, seeks a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 in Tallahassee. You will support the store leadership team to deliver great customer experiences, train new hires, and assist with daily operations and sales targets.

You’ll lead on the floor, open/close the store, manage the register, and help with merchandising and stockroom organization. 18+ with 1+ year retail experience; fandom enthusiasm a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail store experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to train and develop junior staff.
• Demonstrated reliability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, leveraging product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Step in on the sales floor to support the store leadership when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add-on sales through available services.
• Understand store sales plans, KPI targets, and communicate progress to leadership.
• Assist with planogram changes, merchandising, and stockroom organization.
• Share fashion trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Support theft prevention and maintain store security practices.
• Collaborate with a team to develop a high-energy, customer-focused store culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.
