BoxLunch in Seattle is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager to support the store leadership team and deliver a top-tier customer experience. You’ll mentor new recruits, help hit sales targets, and ensure operations run smoothly while you share your fandom knowledge.

You’ll supervise on the sales floor, open and close the store, process transactions, and drive add-on sales with perks like BOPIS and curbside where available, while maintaining stock and merchandising standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Able to work 18+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate a store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customer return, using product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Cover the sales floor and provide leadership support when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Operate the register, process transactions, and drive add-on sales (BOPIS, curbside where available).
• Communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager during closeouts.
• Understand store sales plans, KPIs (e.g., UPT, ADT) and help meet targets.
• Assist with planogram changes, store maps, fixtures, and merchandising mix.
• Share fashion trend information with management and HQ partners.
• Help prevent theft and maintain store security alongside Management.
• Help maintain stock room organization and store tidiness.
