Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to support the store leadership team and enhance the customer experience for fans of music and pop culture. You’ll train new recruits, help meet sales targets, and assist with daily operations on the floor and in the stockroom.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience and train new recruits.
• Cover the sales floor and support the Manager when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales with merch and services.
• Understand store sales plans, goals, and KPIs like UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Ensure security and prevent theft alongside Store Management.
• Keep stock room organized and maintain store cleanliness.
• Help develop a collaborative, enthusiastic team.
