Job summary

Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1 to support the store leadership team in delivering an outstanding customer experience and help fans access exclusive merch. You will train new recruits, assist with daily operations, and drive sales targets while maintaining knowledge of music and pop culture trends.

You’ll open/close the store, handle registers, and help with merchandising, stockroom organization, and KPI tracking.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to manage time and store operations.
• Comfort with opening/closing duties and sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer experience and knowledge of products.
• Cover sales floor and support Store Manager as needed.
• Open and close the store; manage register as required.
• Assist with merchandising, planogram changes, and stockroom upkeep.
• Train and develop junior staff to meet sales targets.
