Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Shift Supervisor in Charlotte, NC. The selected candidate will supervise the delivery of security services on a specific shift and act as a liaison among site supervision, account management, and security officers.

Must have prior military, law enforcement, or at least 3 years armed licensed security experience. Benefits include medical and retirement plans; salary is $25.21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and a drug screen required.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication.
• Basic computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate staffing needs on shift to Account Manager or Operations Manager.
• Administer JSAs and safety programs outlining site hazards.
• Assist with uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles; maintain inventories.
• Able to work in various environments and lift up to 40 pounds; climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of security services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training and address grievances with HR support.
• Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies and vehicles at the account.
