Job summary

Allied Universal Services is seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor to oversee on-site security operations for a Saturday-Sunday 6pm-6am shift in Raleigh, NC. The role involves supervising officers, coordinating with Account Manager and Field Operations Manager, and ensuring high standards of service and safety.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, crisis management, and frontline leadership skills, with the ability to train staff and enforce company policies on shift.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Able to use computer systems and wireless technology on site.
• Capable of handling crises calmly and efficiently.
• Communicate staffing needs to supervisors and managers.
• Ensure officers receive appropriate training and development.
• Work environments include varied conditions and potential lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Administer safety programs and site-specific hazard controls.
• Assist with uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicle management.
• Communicate staffing needs and ensure shift coverage.
• Ensure training and development of officers on shift.
