Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in San Antonio, TX. This flexible, dependable role helps you supplement income, gain hands-on experience, or pursue a full-time career with the industry leader.

As an Elite Armed Security Officer - Part Time Flex, you will have fixed anchor shifts at a designated site and may pick up extra shifts to increase earnings through our scheduling platform. Pay rate is $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security.
• A valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and first responders when needed.
• Conduct armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, deliveries, and restricted areas; report unusual activity and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain reports and documentation related to incidents, patrols, and security activities per site requirements.
