The position requires an armed certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. You will provide customer service, perform armed security procedures, and respond to incidents across assigned sites.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out armed security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorized access, theft, and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and promptly communicate incidents and hazards to Allied Universal leadership.
