Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Houston, TX. This armed role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts to maximize earnings.

Pay rate is $18.84 per hour, with the potential to scale up hours to reach a full schedule. Candidates must meet armed-guard requirements and follow site policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security-related experience.
• Must possess an armed guard card/license.
• Must possess a college degree.
• You must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and public officials while carrying out security-related procedures at government locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters.
• Monitor access to government facilities, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor screening procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, coordinating with emergency personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and other security concerns.
