Pay rate is $18.84 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to scale up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

At least one year of law enforcement experience, or two years in security supervision, or three years in security experience.
Armed guard card/license.
College degree required.
Customer service experience preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation and drug screening required.
Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to identify hazards and policy violations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
Monitor access points and check credentials, vehicles, and authorized entry as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs related to patrols and incidents.
