Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Patrol Surveillance in Houston, TX. You will protect government facilities, conduct armed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional customer service to visitors and staff.

The role requires an armed guard card, Texas Level III Armed Certification, and at least 6 months of armed security experience. A high school diploma is required, with a background check and drug screening per policy.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas required.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at a government location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and report conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and direct visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and escalate security concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
