Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Owatonna, MN is seeking a part-time Archery Technician to greet customers, perform bow setup and assembly, and demonstrate equipment. You will answer technical questions, maintain pricing accuracy, assist with inventory, and ensure a legendry customer experience.

Responsibilities include tuning and safety checks, installing accessories, and guiding customers through product features and care tips. Prior archery knowledge is valued and training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2+ years’ bow setup experience.
• Ability to perform bow setup (draw length, eye dominance, draw weight).
• Bow assembly and accessory installation (kisser button, peep sights, D loop, knock location, scope).
• Arrow setup knowledge (length, spine, inserts).
• Operate bow press and chop saw.
• Instruct customers on safety, bow features and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with bow and archery products.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and tune archery equipment to ensure safety.
• Install accessories and demonstrate product use to customers.
• Assist with pricing, inventory accuracy, and product displays.
