Job summary

Tarrant County College’s South Campus seeks a part-time Coordinator I for the Chapter 133 Apprenticeship program. The role provides advanced level work, oversees daily operations, helps determine direction of the department, monitors budgets, and leads outreach to campus and external partners.

You will supervise a team, perform complex administrative tasks, schedule work, and ensure compliance with policies and grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Master’s degree preferred and higher education experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises complex unit or program
• Performs complex administrative and technical functions for the unit
• Schedules and assigns unit work
• Oversees daily operations
• Makes technical decisions by applying policies, regulations, and protocol
• Performs complex, unit-specific tasks
• Manages budget
• Develops and maintains relationships with individuals and organizations
• Participates in external community organizations and associations to support essential performance requirements
• Attends work regularly and follows a schedule to meet site demands
• Completes required training and professional development
• Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
