Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Apprentice Optician in Lexington, KY to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist customers with frame and lens selection, perform measurements, and ensure eyewear meets quality standards.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, accurate fitting, and use of our selling model to create a positive eye-care experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Part of a sanctioned Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Greeting the Customer and explaining the process.
• Merchandise selection and suggesting frames/lenses.
• Fitting - AccuFit and dispensing eyewear.
• Takes measurements and ensures eyewear meets standards.
• Explains LensCrafters guarantees and services.
• Operates the POS with accuracy and security procedures.
• Maintains store appearance and safety.
