Job summary

LensCrafters in Olde West Chester, Ohio, is seeking a Part-Time Apprentice Optician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience. You will assist customers, help with frame and lens selection, and ensure accurate measurements and fitting.

As part of EssilorLuxottica, you will operate the POS, process transactions, and uphold optical standards while delivering friendly service. Training through our Apprentice Program will build your eyewear knowledge and customer care skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in LensCrafters Apprentice Program.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of optical theory and merchandise.
• Familiarity with POS, calculators, and basic math.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through the LensCrafters experience.
• Assist with frame and lens selection and fittings.
• Take and record measurements and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Process transactions at POS and maintain store standards.
• Support team and uphold safety and hygiene.
