Job summary

Hanbury is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time AP Specialist to join our accounting team in Norfolk, VA. This role will support accounts payable processes, maintain vendor records, and help ensure timely, accurate invoice processing in Deltek Vantagepoint.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year degree (or equivalent) and 2+ years of AP or accounting experience. Proficiency with Excel and Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred, with a focus on data accuracy and security.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of AP or general accounting experience.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter AP invoices into the Deltek Vantagepoint system
• Create and maintain vendor records
• Communicate with vendors and internal project managers
• Serve as backup to the main AP processor on tasks such as: weekly AP pay runs, expense prepaids, and Visa card transactions
