Southern New Hampshire Health in Nashua is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. This on-site role supports vendor relations and compliant financial operations.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least two years in AP or accounting, and strong experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and general ledger coding. Part-time schedule is 25 hours per week, 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounts payable principles and workflow.
• Understanding of general ledger coding and invoicing processes.
• Familiarity with W-9 and 1099 requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, validate, and process vendor invoices for payment.
• Ensure invoices have documentation and approvals prior to payment.
• Code invoices using general ledger accounts and prepare payment batches.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Prepare weekly check runs and monthly reports as needed.
• Protect confidential financial information and follow internal controls.
