Job summary

Avista Senior Living is seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at our corporate office in Mesa, Arizona. This PART TIME position emphasizes accuracy, data entry, and exceptional customer service, with a benefits package.

Responsibilities include handling AP invoicing from receipt to payment, ensuring payment postings are correct, setting up vendors, and supporting locations with AP needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic accounting knowledge and data entry skills.
• Strong customer service and attention to detail.
• Experience with office equipment and software.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing AP invoicing from beginning to end (invoice receipt, approval and payment).
• Ensure payment posting accuracy.
• Research invoices, both paid and unpaid as needed, including cleared check inquiries and voiding of checks.
• Set-up new vendors and ensuring proper documentation is received and scanned into the system.
• Assist locations with general AP needs or issues as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of credit cards, procurement and payment software.
• Daily invoice entry; including downloading and organizing digital invoices.
• Special projects as assigned.
