Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Angio/Interventionalist to perform angiography procedures, scrubbing, setting techniques, and imaging. You will support the Imaging service line with a focus on quality care, safety, and accurate documentation.

Role requires preparation for exams, adherence to radiation safety, and coordination with care teams. Part-time, 30 hours weekly, located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• ARRT and BCLS are required; ACLS within 120 days.
• PALS required for pediatric hospitals; state licensure or certifications must be current.
• 2+ years Angio/Interventional experience for II; 1-2 years for I.
• VIR certification is preferred.
• Maintains licensure and certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date licensure and certifications required for position.
• Provide procedural assistance as circulating, scrub, or monitoring tech per policies.
• Operate IR equipment to ensure quality images are produced.
• Prepare patient identification, order verification, and exam readiness.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and safe environment.
• Follow protocol for medical necessity, coding, and consents.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with other providers after procedures.
• Manage sheath placement and hemostasis after procedures.
