Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Part-time Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the New York ARTCC (ZNY) in Ronkonkoma, NY. The role involves delivering high-quality training with a hands-on approach to both classroom and simulation-based instruction.

Ideal candidates will have five years of FAA CPC experience and a CPC certification, with the ability to obtain Instructor-II certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification required with ability to obtain Instructor-II certification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic at the same type of ATC facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) as needed; participate in curriculum design and development.
• Work at New York ARTCC (ZNY), Ronkonkoma, NY, supporting FAA training services.
