Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Air Traffic Control Instructor-II to join the Controller Training Solutions team in Fletcher, NC. This part-time, on-site position involves delivering high-quality classroom and simulation training to pilots and controllers and may include mentoring and curriculum development.

The ideal candidate will have FAA CPC certification, at least five years of CPC experience at a comparable ATC facility, and the ability to obtain FAA simulation laboratory certifications.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum five years of FAA CPC experience at the same type/same level ATC facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation-based training.
• Mentor students and possibly Remote Pilot Operators; assist curriculum design as needed.
• Demonstrate ability to obtain radar and/or non-radar simulation laboratory certifications.
