Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is seeking Youth Development Professionals for the Carbon County area. The role involves nurturing healthy relationships with children, parents, and staff, and facilitating social and emotional learning in afterschool programs.

Locations include Creek View Elementary, Bruin Point Elementary, Sally Mauro Elementary, and Carbon County YDP Substitute roles across five sites. The position is part-time with afterschool hours starting at 2:30 pm and ending around 6:00

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in afterschool programs.
• Ability to engage children in activities and lessons.
• Demonstrated patience and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Play and positively interact with the children throughout the program.
• Engage with children and supervise activities.
• Coordinate with site director on activity and lesson schedules.
• Attend weekly staff meetings after program hours.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for children.
