Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is seeking a Youth Development Professional to support afterschool programming in the Carbon County area. This part-time role offers shifts starting around 2:30 pm and ending as late as 6 pm at multiple sites.

You will nurture healthy relationships with children, help them develop social and emotional skills, supervise activities, and maintain a safe, supportive environment.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to engage children in activities and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work afterschool hours across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Play and positively interact with the children during the program.
• Engage with children and supervise activities.
• Conduct physical activities such as soccer, basketball, and playground games.
• Conflict resolution between children, staff and parents.
• Learn and apply social & emotional intelligence to interactions with children.
