Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking a reliable Part-Time Afternoon Direct Care Worker to provide 1:1 support in clients' homes across Southeast Michigan. You will encourage skill-building activities and assist recipients as they participate in community outings to advance personal goals outside their home.

The role emphasizes compassionate caregiving, strong communication, and the ability to follow care plans. A flexible schedule and a positive, proactive attitude are valued as part of our team culture.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with recipients in clients' homes.

You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment.
